On July 19, 2023, the founding assembly of the association “Club of Founders and Retirees ALPHA ADRIATIC” (“Klub osnivača i umirovljenika ALPHA ADRIATIC”) was held, attended by 13 founders and former employees of the Company. Mr. Renato Fonović was elected as the President of the Club for a three-year term.
Our resilience and longevity are based on the rich knowledge and valuable professional support of our founders and former employees, who have played a crucial role in establishing us as a recognized entity in the international maritime market. By founding this Club, we preserve our history and provide support for the social engagement of our members. Additionally, we aim to contribute to the preservation of the collective knowledge and experience in shipping and shipbuilding in Pula and Istria.
The newly established Club will serve as a platform for gathering, networking, and socializing, as well as for reflection, planning, and promotion of social activities, cultural and entertainment events, and improving the quality of life within the local community. Furthermore, it will document and preserve specialized knowledge, skills, and experiences accumulated over decades of intensive economic activities in the field of shipping and shipbuilding.
We invite all interested individuals to join the work of the newly founded Club of Founders and Retirees ALPHA ADRIATIC, and we also take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all our founders, former, current employees of the Company, and our seafarers for their long-standing and continuous support and loyalty, which has never wavered, not even during the most challenging moments for the Company.
